Welcome to the Lekki Phase 1 Residents Association (LERA) community platform. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LERA. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.

To access certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are found to contain false information. You must be a resident or business owner in Lekki Phase 1 to register for full membership access.

When using our platform, you agree NOT to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international law
• Post false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, or libelous content
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person or group
• Upload viruses or any other malicious code
• Spam or send unsolicited communications to other users
• Collect or harvest any personally identifiable information
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose without authorization
• Post content that infringes on intellectual property rights

Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of your account and potential legal action.

The platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LERA and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Members may be required to pay association dues and fees through our platform. By making a payment, you agree to:

• Provide current, complete, and accurate payment information
• Pay all charges incurred at the prices in effect when charges are incurred
• Be responsible for all charges incurred under your account

All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors. LERA is not responsible for any errors or issues arising from the payment processor. Membership fees are non-refundable except as required by law or at LERA's sole discretion.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LERA, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the platform
• Your violation of these Terms of Use
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights
• Any claim that your content caused damage to a third party

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms of Use.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
